Protection & Advocacy for Beneficiaries
of Social Security (PABSS)
The Protection & Advocacy for Beneficiaries of Social
Security (PABSS) Program protects the legal rights of social security
beneficiaries in their efforts to return to work.
You are eligible for PABSS services if:
ü
You have a disability and receive SSI or SSDI; AND
ü
You need information about how work or returning
to work will affect your benefits; OR
ü
You need assistance with rehabilitation services,
accommodations or other return-to-work issues.
If you are eligible for assistance, the PABSS Program can:
ü
Provide information about the programs, services
& supports available to help you return to work.
ü
Provide you with technical assistance if you
encounter problems in obtaining the support & services you need to return
to work.
ü Make referrals to other professionals or agencies when appropriate.

Training can be scheduled through a Protection &
Advocacy Outreach Coordinator. |
