The Impact Fund just completed its three day intensive Class Action Litigation Training Institute, held at Public Counsel in Los Angeles. The program focused on litigation and practical skills that can be used in a variety of class actions. Sixteen advocates from private practice and non-profit organizations gained in-depth exposure to class action at all stages from the first client meeting to final settlement. Guest speakers included a media expert, a named plaintiff and a mediator. The Impact Fund will present the program again in June 2008 in conjunction with UC Hastings College of the Law.
