The Coalition of Californians for Olmstead is pleased to present the enclosed the documents, designed to inform and to gather the views of people interested in Olmstead implementation in California. You may have received materials prepared by the state for the Olmstead forums. Because important questions and issues were omitted, COCO decided to produce materials which can supplement or replace the state versions.

COCO's documents are a background piece on Olmstead and a survey. Please feel free to adapt them, add your own thoughts, and, most importantly, circulate them widely. COCO will also be supplying a much shorter version as an alternative.

Here are directions for completed surveys:

1) If you go to a forum, hand it in to the sponsor.

2) If you do not attend a forum, we request that you send it to COCO at the address above; we will copy it and send it to the state. Please write COCO Olmstead Survey on the envelope.
