RACHEL GUERRERO

Ms. Guerrero is the Chief of the Office of Multicultural Services for the California State Department of Mental Health. Ms. Guerrero received her masters in Social Work at CA State University, Sacramento. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. She has statewide leadership responsibility for developing culturally and linguistically competent mental health programs at state and local levels.

Her career expands 30 years in the public sector including work in community mental health as a child and family mental health provider, Social Services, and juvenile justice. She has worked at the State Department of mental Health for 16 years.

In 2002 she was honored with the CA. Statewide Mental Health Cultural Competence Leadership Award.
