OCRA begins advocacy servicesT he Office of Clients’ Rights Advocacy officially begins its advocacy services on June 1, 1999. OCRA, a division of PAI, has hired and will supervise the clients’ rights advocates at all 21 regional centers in California.On June 1 and 2, 1999, the new advocates will attend a welcoming ceremony and two-day training in Sacramento. Their first day serving regional center consumers will be June 3.
